                      > eisys/healthcare® can provide a total solutions package to meet the high ergonomic and workflow
demands of any healthcare or PACS environment.  This total solutions approach ensures your
system’s success by improving workflow processes, accelerating technology integration and
increasing the overall productivity of the department.  Ultimately, the patient receives enhanced
quality of care and faster service while management provides a healthier, more productive staff
                         and environment.
                     > advanced project analysis  eisys/healthcare® will program and assess the functional
requirements for interior spaces and prepare an analysis of user needs.  This analysis will
include traffic patterns within the department, workflow patterns and logistics and procedures,
ergonomic evaluation to determine prototypical workstation design and shape, equipment
inventory, acoustic assessment and lighting review.  We will also assimilate the data and
information, determine the process and plan for the Schematic Design phase.
                     > schematic design  eisys/healthcare® will prepare preliminary concept designs, drawings
and specifications for furnishings, mateials and finishes.  We will determine the best ergonomic
configuration of furniture for efficient workflow, acoustic privacy and lighting.  We will develop a
workstation that incorporates PACS technology, unique wire management and workflow
requirements while accommodating individual ergonomic needs to improve efficiency and
productivity.  We will develop and present concept floor plans that demonstrate improved
efficiency by creating open yet private work areas by the use of planned traffic flow, furniture size,
placement and screening.  During the schematic design phase, we will obtain input from the
departmental staff to further develop the floor plans.  Floor plans will be modified to include
comments. Ancillary furniture and accessory solutions will be defined.  We will research acoustics,
lighting, colors, finishes and materials, as well as provide preliminary furnishing specifications
                         and budget pricing.
                     > design development eisys/healthcare® will develop specific designs, drawings and specifications
for furnishings, materials and finishes.  We will present one scheme of furnishings and finish
materials that include: carpet, wall covering, paint, ceiling tiles, lighting fixtures and furniture.
We will prepare final specifications and pricing for all PACS and ancillary furnishings, materials
and finishes.  We will finalize the total furnishings budget, then complete the final floor plan
including wall configurations and PACS workstation locations.  Case work elevations and other
floor plan details will be developed.
                     > contract documents and administration eisys/healthcare® will prepare final drawings,
documents and specifications.  We will administer contracts for fabrication, procurement and
installation in connection with furnishings, materials and finishes.  Installation drawings for
furnishings will be prepared, as well as a full set of final drawings for construction including
Legend & Notes, Door and Wall Information, Dimensioned Floor Plan with poser and
communications outlets located,  Reflected Ceiling Plan, Casework Elevations and Finish
Specifications.  (Drawings will not include any engineering drawings, nor will they be suitable
for submission to local permitting authorities.)  We will coordinate furnishings and material
delivery with IT and PACS Integration Team.  On-site technical services during furnishing
installation will be provided as well as In-Service training and support for furnishings.  And we
will ensure quality assurance by conducting post-occupancy evaluations.

                      > consulting charges are incurred for schematic design, design development and contract
