A.) eisys/healthcare®, recognizing the need for exceptional ergonomic workcenters, mobile carts and seating in a rapidly changing and ever evolving world of technology, partnered with Leuwico, GmbH, and Labofa A/S, two experienced and well established European manufacturers of ergonomic furnishings.

Leuwico, for many years has sought out and developed ergonomic workcenters for vertical market applications, such as; Architectural/Engineering and Stock Brokers/Traders. We selected them for their willingness to develop products that address special equipment and electrical requirments, durability and modularity without sacrificing their commitment to sound ergonomic principles. eisys/healthcare® is the exclusive U.S. distributor for Leuwico workcenters.

Labofa has designed and produced award winning ergonomic seating solutions since the 1970’s. eisys®, inc., introduce The Ego Seating System to the American marketplace in 1996. And like all of their products it has stood the test of time. Labofa’s products are know for their unique mechanisms, designed to allow the chair to react to the human body. Additionally, their trademark longevity speaks volumes about the lasting quality and maintenance-ability inherent in their products. Labofa’s total commitment to ergonomics makes them a natural partner. eisys/healthcare® is the exclusive U.S. distributor for Labofa Ergonomic Seating Products.

eisys/healthcare® enhances Leuwico and Labofa products with on-going research and development on new ergonomic work tools; while constantly looking for ways to incorporate tomorrow’s new technologies, today.

A.) General
The following eisys warranty applies to its PACS workcenter Solutions after November 1, 2002.
- eisys warrants all PACS workcenter Solutions to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the LIFE of the product.
- This warranty is effective as long as the original customer owns the product and uses it under normal conditions and in the manner for which it was designed.
- If a product is defective and if written notice of the defect is given to eisys within the applicable warranty period, eisys, at its option, will either repair or replace the defective component or product with a comparable component or product.
- This LIFETIME warranty applies to all of eisys' PACS workcenter Solution products regardless of the number of shifts it is used each day except as listed below:

Fabrics Per Fabric Manufacturers stated warranty

Exceptions:
This warranty does not apply to defects from normal wear and tear, accidents, negligence, abuse, shipment, handling, storage or environmental conditions. It also does not apply to alterations to the product not expressly authorized by eisys, nor to products considered to be of a consumable nature. All claims under this warranty shall be made by the original purchaser within thirty (30) days of alleged defect.

NOTE: For workcenters with weight sensitive warning labels. eisys shall not be liable for repairs or replacement should customer fail to follow instructions regarding minimum or maximum weight loading.

EXCEPT AS STATED ABOVE, eisys MAKES NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES AS TO ANY PRODUCT AND IN PARTICULAR MAKES NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PRODUCT EXCEPT FOR USE AS STANDARD OFFICE PRODUCT. PRODUCT REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT IS THE CUSTOMER’S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY AND ALL PRODUCT DEFECTS.

eisys shall not be liable for consequential, economic or incidental damages arising from any product defect.

A.) eisys offers a standard selection of finishes. The finishes were selected to minimize the visual strain encountered in the digital reading environment. The work top is a grey scale multi-fleck plastic laminate. The work top edge is a soft-form ergonomically designed wood detail. The frame and the accessories are a low light reflective silver metallic finished aluminum and steel. eisys also offers other worktop, edge and metal finishes for special orders. A.) eisys does not publish a standard price list for its PACS products at this time. Our PACS workcenters are custom configured to your specifications.

Please contact eisys to discuss your specific needs and we will prepare a proposal for you.

A.) All orders must be placed in writing. eisys accepts US mail, credit cards, fax orders and purchase orders with an authorized signature. All new customers shall complete the eisys account information and credit application forms and be approved as a new customer prior to eisys’ acceptance of the order.

12.) What are your typical freight and shipping costs?

A.) Freight and shipping costs vary greatly depending on the destination and the weight of the product. eisys includes estimated freight and shipping costs in our proposal to you. All products are shipped knock-down, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cartons and crates are heavy and may require assistance in receiving. Inside delivery is not included unless requested.
If damage is visible to any carton or crate, note all damages on the delivery ticket.

eisys will handle all freight claims for you unless otherwise agreed. You must notify eisys, in writing, within 48 hours of receipt of the products if any damages are visible. eisys also requires that you open all crates and cartons to inspect for hidden damages. eisys will need a detailed list of the damages to the products and photographic documentation of the damages submitted to us within 3-5 working days. Refer to eisys’ Terms and Conditions.

A.) eisys maintains inventory of our standard products. Our sales staff will advise you if the products listed on your proposal are available in our inventory.

If your project specifications require a special order, our sales staff will advise you.

The typical lead time for special orders is 8-10 weeks.

Typical transit time is 3-7 days.

14.) How are your products, shipped, assembled, and installed?

A.) eisys ships all product knock-down, unless otherwise agreed. The product is shipped knock-down to maximize safety and product protection as well as to achieve economic packaging and shipping. eisys does not recommend shipping fully assembled. All products will be shipped in cartons and crates packaged on palettes. Shipping is FOB the eisys plant in Birmingham, AL. We typically ship via ground transportation.

eisys has a professional assembly and installation staff. Included in our proposal to you is the price for our trained staff to assemble your order on site. Full service on-site installation is also included in our proposal to you. Depending on your workcenter design, assembly typically takes one to one and one-half hours per workcenter.
